more appreciative of the beauty of Asian male features. Eurasian actors Keanu Reeves, Russell Wong and Dean Cain show that the features possessed by many Asian men are appealing to North American audiences. The success of Asian
actors Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Chow Yun-Fat shows that even pure Asian men enjoy a following on this side of the Pacific. This trend has been strengthened by large numbers of Asian North American men who enjoy major positions
in government, business, education and the media.
Don't fall for the misconceptions that Asian men are small weak, and unathletic. There are all kinds of Asians, including groups that are generally tall and big. In the most recent Olympic games (Beijing 2008), which
team dominated the gold medal standings overall? Yes, the home team: China. 51 gold medals compared to 36 by the US and 23 by Russia. And China is tops in sports requiring a great combination of strength and agility like
gymnastics -again dominated by China in the Olympics. What about brute strength sports like wieghtlifting? You're right -China again. So much for the claim that Asian men aren't as "tall, big, muscular, or
