Johnny, a young and naive dreamer driven by his goal to race cars in North Carolina, finds himself penniless and hungry in Las Vegas. In short order he is ripped off by a female hustler, propositioned by an older man and threatened by street thugs. Angry and discouraged, he meets gay street hustler Eric who introduces him to his gang that includes Steven (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), a young bisexual who is also a hustler. Eric and Johnny become friends and soul mates helping each other through the difficulties of life on the street. Soon they are confronted with a life-threatening situation involving drugs, money and betrayal, and Johnny must decide if he has what it takes to follow his dream.
